Michael Dominic is a native New Yorker who has been working in film for more than sixteen years. In 1993 he was picked up by SpiderCom Films in London to direct music videos. Over the four years that Michael lived in the UK he directed several high profile videos, including three for Norman "Fat Boy Slim" Cook.

Upon his return to New York City Michael dove in to a documentary about the Sunshine Hotel, one of the last all men's "flophouse" hotels on the then infamous Bowery. Sunshine Hotel has screened at over twenty film festivals and theaters, including Lincoln center, bringing home three awards for 'Best Documentary'. Sunshine Hotel also ran on Sundance Channel from 2002-2004.

In the last several years Michael has directed several projects for Fashion TV and Spoon magazine, and is currently in post production on his new documentary about the NYPD boxing team.
